- Recognition for involvement/accomplishments by an individual or group NOT employed in fisheries/aquatic resources.
3. Conservation professional of the year
- Recognition of an individual employed in conservation of fisheries/aquatic resources for making a significant impact.
4. Kelly Meyer sportfish professional of the year
- In memory of Kelly Meyer, this award recognizes an individual employed in sportfish management for making a significant impact.
- Recognition when things go awry in the field. For fun, laughs, glory and grins.
