The 2017 JAM will be held in Farmington, NM from February 9-11, 2017. Farmington is a short driving distance from first class fishing in the San Jaun River at the Navajo Dam tail water and not far from Four Corners National Monument. 2017 JAM Student Mentor Luncheon and Student Volunteers
We are setting up the Student Social Lunch and looking for Student Volunteers for the 50th Joint Annual Meeting of the Arizona/New Mexico Chapters of the Wildlife Society and the Arizona/New Mexico Chapter of the American Fisheries Society in Farmington, NM on February 9-11th, 2017. At the Student Social Lunch, students will be able to meet and eat lunch with professionals from a variety of fields and agencies. Lunch will be provided at the Student Social Lunch; however, space is limited. If you’re are attending the meeting and would like to go to the Student Social Lunch, please email Kent Mosher at kmosher@azgfd.gov as soon as possible as spaces fill up quickly.
If you are a student and interested in helping at the meeting, we will be paying student volunteers $8 per hour worked. In past years, shift lengths ranged from 2 to 5 hours. Volunteer activities may include assisting with audio/video, raffle and silent auction, Quiz Bowl, etc. Please email Kent Mosher if you are interested in being a student volunteer.
